Today
The Yard Dogs have come back! After Wayne had
recovered, and decided to come back to the sport he
loves, he hand picked a whole new team from beginner
players and now has a 15 man roster making up two 7
man teams. One team has made every NPPL Super Seven
Series and is currently ranked B after the New
Jersey event. Our other team has played local 5 man
events and the NPPL Las Vegas event.
To help fund the team we run our own 3-man C.A.P.S.
(Cheap Affordable Paintball Series) tournament
series and referee Mike Lynch’s Mountain States
Tournament Series where the Yard Dogs have earned a
reputation as being the most honorable referees in
Colorado tournament history. Our 3-man series was
created to introduce new players to the tournament
scene. We have two divisions, rookie and novice.
There are 10 events that make up the C.A.P.S.
series, one every month. We try very hard to give
new players an experience that is fair and fun with
prizes and trophies at every event and a grand prize
for the series champs!
Team Philosophy
The Yard Dogs
believe in a positive and interactive style of
promoting paintball itself. Most of the players on
our team work at Paintball Adventures full time. All
of us have the desire and passion for the sport.
We have proven to
be good role models for local young players and
often invite new teams to come to our practices,
show them how to work on their equipment, and teach
them the basics of tournament play. We would like to
see the sport grow even bigger and it all starts
with the beginner players. We also believe that
positive attitudes are what will bring the sport to
where it should be.

the oldest tournament team in the state of Colorado.
We plan to keep it that way. Currently Zap
Paintball, Paintball Adventures MC, and Pro Star
Sports sponsor us.
Paintball Adventures:
This facility has a
110-acre field with two speedball fields (ultimate
air) and up to 9 different rec-ball fields, and has
two pro shops in the Denver Metro area. Paintball
Adventures is kind enough to offer the team free
field usage for practice and discounts on equipment.

Inc:
A paintball distributor and leader in the area of
teaching entrepreneurs around the world, how to
start and run a paintball field. Pro Star markets
The Paintball Field Operators Guide, written by Guy
D. Cooper. Pro Star Sports has sponsored the Yard
Dogs with paintballs at a discounted price and has
arranged free practice paint.
Chronic
(Zap):
Our
newest sponsor, has been so generous as to provide
us with practice paint, tournament paint (NPPL
events), and jerseys. In return, the Yard Dogs
members ref at the Paintball Adventure’s field and
help at the two Paintball Adventures Pro Shops. We
also promote Zap/Chronic by running our own 3-man
tournament series, selling Zap Tork series paint at
each event. At every NPPL event we help the guys
from Zap by building/setting up their tents and
encouraging other teams to purchase their paint. We
work very hard as a team, developing our game to
compete at the highest level. We also work very hard
to take care of our sponsors who believe in us and
give back to them what they have given to us in good
faith.
